Leadership: The Deep Dive Program

This intensive,  program engages participants in a 4 month learning journey that combines a blend of face-to-face workshops, action learning, online support, coaching and mentoring. Designed for new and emerging leaders it provides a deep dive into personal leadership, working in and leading teams as well as skills and understanding to lead in communities and organisations.

The outcome: Leaders who are courageous and understand how to effectively create and lead productive change in our complex, interconnected world.

Program delivery philosophy

The program like leadership needs to engage ‘hearts as well as heads’.

To make this promise a reality, we focus on:

  • Taking a participant-centred and learning-centered approach
  • Providing a high level of trust, challenge and experiential processes which moves participants rapidly into action
  • Helping challenge individuals’ mental models and thinking: as Einstein said, “The thinking that got us into the problem isn’t the thinking that will get us out of it”
  • Acknowledging and building on participants’ existing experience and expertise
  • Recognising differing learning styles and stimulating the kind of thinking required (analysis, synthesis, empathy) – while acknowledging at the same time that…
  • Less may be more. Cramming content does not deliver the best outcomes. We hurry slowly and learn to fail fast!

  • Action learning: one month in the workplace
  • Co-Create Workshop – 3 days
  • Action learning: one month in the workplace
  • Transition Workshop  – 3 days

This is a program for participants passionate about developing the skills and acquiring the tools and knowledge needed to initiate and lead productive change.
